HikingMountains in Yamanashi

For a great encounter with nature! 3 recommended mountains for beginners in mountaineering!

Here are some of the mountains we have climbed so far that we recommend for beginners! We hope you will find them useful, whether you have just started climbing or are thinking of starting in the future!

Chausuyama and Shimakareyama, where you can see a spectacular view of the green carpet!

Located on Kita-Yatsugatake, this mountain is 2,384 meters above sea level. To the north of this mountain is Mt. Shimagare, famous for the Shimagare phenomenon. Mt.Shimagar is famous for its Shimagare phenomenon. (Shimagare is a phenomenon in which subalpine coniferous forests die in bands that move slowly toward the summit of the mountain.) ) Therefore, from a distance, they appear as white stripes! You can drive all the way up to around 2,000 meters at once, so it takes less than two hours to get to the top, making it a fun and just-right amount of time to climb! The climb is very easy with few steep parts, so even beginners can do it (there were a lot of elderly people, too)! It’s just amazing! ). You can’t see the view from the top, but you can enjoy the world while climbing! And the view from the top is spectacular, like a green carpet!

After about an hour of climbing, there was a grassy field with a view of Mt! From the plaza to the top, there are a variety of mountain paths with chains and ladders, and it is like an athletic activity, a little hard at some points, but very enjoyable! It was also fun to climb up the mountain while looking at Mt. Fuji. I recommend it to anyone who is tired of just walking and would like a mountain with a little challenge! Mt. Kentoku is a 2,031-meter-high mountain in Yamanashi Prefecture, in the Okuchichibu mountain range, and is one of Japan’s 200 most famous mountains and Yamanashi’s 100 most famous mountains, where you can enjoy “forest, meadow, and rocky peak”.
